Citizens for a Strong Democracy

 

Citizens for a Strong Democracy is a non-partisan, non-profit 501(c)(3)  organization (IRS 501(c)(3) application pending) with a primary purpose to strengthen public confidence in the election systems and the results of the vote. We will also educate voters about how to safely and effectively vote in their communities, highlighting any changes in laws and practices that have been enacted since the last election.

 

Leadership

As the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security under both Republican and Democratic presidents, each of the leaders below were responsible for the protection of critical infrastructure and the nation’s leadership; counterterrorism; cybersecurity; border protection; port, aviation and maritime security; enforcement and administration of immigration laws; response to national disasters; and detection and prevention of nuclear, chemical and biological threats.
